Wendy Cope

Come and meet one of Britain's best loved poets.  Since her bestselling debut Making Cocoa for Kingsley Amis was published in 1986, Wendy Cope has been responsible for some of the best-known and most-quoted lines in contemporary poetry.

She was voted the listeners' choice in a BBC Radio 4 poll in 198 and was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2010 .

Meetings are held at Hartington Grove Friends' Meeting House, from 7.30 pm to about 9.30. Hartington Grove runs between Hills Road and Cherry Hinton Road, Cambridge.

Non-members are welcome to attend these meetings (except the Annual General Meeting) at a charge of £3.
